Data minimisation

We collect as little as the product needs. The current local build stores notification preferences in your own browser and accepts anonymous Local Pulse votes.

Location

• Local Pulse uses coarse location only: country, optionally state/city.
• Exact GPS coordinates are never requested and never stored.
• You can correct or leave out the detected area; declining location never blocks participation.
• Individual locations are never displayed. Only aggregated results are published.

Pulse votes

Votes are anonymous ratings (1–5) with an optional sector and coarse location. They are only ever published as aggregates with sample sizes, and small samples are flagged as low-confidence.
