Editorial & Verification Policy

Verification states

Every claim we publish carries one of six states: CONFIRMED, RUMOUR, ONE-SIDED/UNCONFIRMED, DISPUTED, DENIED or CORRECTED. The state is displayed with the story — a rumour is never dressed up as fact.

How claims are verified

• Social posts are discovery leads, never facts by themselves.
• We identify the original claim and seek its primary/original source.
• Where a claim involves two parties, we check both sides.
• Independent corroboration upgrades confidence; its absence is stated.

Silence is not denial

If side A asserts something and side B has not responded, we say exactly that: "A-side says X. B-side has not yet confirmed." Silence, "no comment" and explicit denial are three different situations and are labelled differently. Only an explicit contradiction produces DISPUTED.

Watch sources

Social accounts we monitor are inputs, never publishers we copy. They are scored over time on factual accuracy, timeliness, primary-source citation, correction rate, sensationalism and bias — never on follower counts. We publish our own original synthesis, not their words or images.

Language rules

Analysis is observational. We describe zones, structure and conditions; we never instruct readers to buy, sell, or position, and we never claim certainty about future prices.
